27.01.16 Carfax Education selected as a Finalist for two prestigious GESS Education Awards
Carfax Education is delighted to have been selected as a finalist in two categories of the GESS Education Awards. Carfax Education Group in the SME Company of the Year category, and Director of Carfax Educational Projects, Matthew Goldie-Scot, for the Outstanding Contribution in Education Award. Part of the Gulf Educational Supplies & Solutions (GESS) exhibition and conference, the GESS Education Awards are an annual event to celebrate the outstanding success of international suppliers and teaching professionals in the education sector throughout the Middle East.
The nomination for SME Company of the Year follows Carfax Education Dubai’s recent inclusion in the Dubai SME 100 Ranking, as one of the top 100 SMEs, selected from a pool of over 4,500. The nomination recognizes the excellent academic support Carfax provides to families and individuals in the UAE, and the progress made since opening its first office in Dubai three years ago, as well as the wider work of the Carfax Education Group internationally.
Matthew Goldie-Scot, Director of Carfax Educational Projects (the institutional division of the Carfax Education Group) is a leading educationalist with extensive international experience, having worked as an educational practitioner, researcher, and consultant in a wide range of contexts. He has developed strong-working relationships with institutions and governments across the world, and throughout the region and is committed to excellence in education. In addition to his work at Carfax, he serves on the Board of Trustees at PEAS, a group of schools operating throughout Africa.
Winners will be announced on March 2, 2016, during the second day of GESS Dubai, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
